There’s certainly been plenty of new development news in recent months, and if you’ve lost track of what’s currently coming through the pipeline, we don’t blame you. But unlike the last two to three years, many of the new projects that are either being proposed or already under construction will feature condos rather than apartments, prompting some to believe the condo market is finally starting to make a comeback.
So to refresh your memory of what’s currently in the works, here’s a glimpse of just some of the hottest new construction condo developments being built in Downtown Chicago:
Renelle on the River - VIEW LISTINGS>>>
Thanks to its prime River North location right next door to the famed Trump Tower, Renelle on the River is arguably one of the most high-profile projects being developed. When finished, Renelle on the River will hold 51 luxury condo residences that offer between three and four bedrooms and plenty of upscale finishes and features throughout.
1000 W. Monroe - VIEW LISTINGS>>>
Uncharacteristically modern for the West Loop, 1000 W. Monroe looks more like something you’d expect to find in nearby River North, which is precisely what makes it so unique. But because it will only house 12 luxury condo residences, opportunities here are limited to say the least.
Three Sixty West - VIEW LISTINGS>>>
One of the newest downtown condo projects to be revealed, Three Sixty West, located at 360 W. Erie, will feature 38 extravagant three-bedroom condos, which will be priced somewhere between $1.1 and $1.8 million. Interior finishes will be sleek and modern, much like the building’s impressive exterior.
111 S. Peoria - VIEW LISTINGS>>>
Also called Illume, it’s hard not to include 111 S. Peoria in our list of the hottest new construction condo developments in Chicago right now given it’s location in the highly sought-after West Loop neighborhood. In all, 111 S. Peoria will feature 95 condo residences, with some of the largest units priced just under $2.5 million.
