Timber lofts are some of the coolest properties you’ll find on the Chicago real estate market. Often housed inside old warehouses and re-vamped industrial buildings, most timber lofts for sale in Chicago also feature huge open layouts, sprawling exposed brick walls, and expansive industrial-size windows that let in plenty of natural light. But because of their uniqueness and high-level of desirability, timber lofts in Chicago are often quite pricey, unless you’re lucky enough to find an available unit inside one of these fabulous buildings…
701 W. Jackson
Finding an available loft in or around the West Loop for under $400,000 has become increasingly difficult, but every now and then you might find something here at 701 W. Jackson. Close to the expressway, the Loop, and of course all that the West Loop has to offer, there’s no better location to consider for a timber loft in Chicago under $400,000 than right here.
300 W. Grand
300 W. Grand is situated right in the heart of Chicago’s River North neighborhood—one of the city’s trendier places to call home. Most lofts under $400,000 offer just one bedrooms at 300 W. Grand, but sometimes you might find a two-bedroom unit for literally just under that price point. Along with timber ceilings, units also include private balconies, lots of exposed brick, and nicely updated finishes to the kitchens and bathrooms (in most instances).
2614 N. Clybourn
If you’re looking for a timer loft a bit further outside of downtown, chances are you’ll find a few different options over at 2614 N. Clybourn. Close to plenty of nearby shopping and dining in Lincoln Park, 2614 N. Clybourn definitely offers more of a quiet neighborhood vibe, which isn’t always easy to find attached to a timer loft building here in the Windy City. Look for one bedroom lofts here to even start under $300,000, truly making it one of the better values you’ll find.
