Mother's Day Brunch in ChicagoIf you’re still on the fence about what to do for Mother’s Day this year, you can’t go wrong with taking mom out for a nice brunch here in the heart of downtown Chicago. As just about any Chicagoan will tell you, the restaurant scene here ranks among the best in the world, and while there’s certainly a lot of praise when it comes to trendy steakhouses, there’s also a pretty good selection of brunch spots in town that definitely won’t leave you disappointed.

So, when it’s time to treat your mom this Mother’s Day, here’s a look at only a few suggestions on where to go for a great brunch experience;

BRUNCH - 644 N Orleans

If a place is actually called Brunch, chances are they serve a pretty good brunch—and that’s certainly the case at this River North hotspot. And given most of the ingredients used here are all local, or at least from somewhere in the Midwest, it’s easy to support one of our favorite places for a weekend brunch: BRUNCH.

Chicago Q - 1160 N Dearborn

Although Chicago Q is more of an upscale barbecue joint, brunch here is served on Saturdays and Sundays until 3 p.m., and it’s widely regarded as one of the places in the Gold Coast for a mid-morning meal. Benedict Flights, Carrot Cake Pancakes, Mimosas, and a Bloody Mary Bar are all part of the experience.

Sixteen - 401 N. Wabash

If you’re looking for an upscale brunch spot to take mom this Mother’s Day, there’s no better place than Sixteen at Trump Tower. Offering a full Sunday Brunch experience unlike anywhere else in downtown Chicago, the food, the views, and the atmosphere are all sure to leave a great impression. Click here for what you can expect at Sixteen’s Sunday brunch service.
