Washington Square ParkWith a floral garden, reconstructed fountain and a convenient location near Newberry Library, Washington Square Park is another great spot for a picnic. The park is small, but provides an ideal location in the Near North community.
Maggie Daley ParkLocated right on the lakefront, Maggie Daley Park includes several open lawn areas, plus picnic groves and a massive playground. In addition, the kids will enjoy the rock-climbing walls and the ice skating ribbon, which doubles as a walking path during the summer.
Lake Shore East Park
Finally, Lake Shore East Park is great for the entire family, with a playground, gardens, plus plenty of open space for a picnic lunch. In addition, the park includes a walking path and even a dog-friendly area.
