Downtown Chicago's Best Candy StoresIf you’re looking to satisfy your sweet tooth this Halloween, you’re in luck because Chicago is loaded with fun and unique candy stores.  We went in search of some of the city’s best and found plenty to choose from, with

Windy City Sweets - 3308 N. Broadway St.

Windy City Sweets is famous for its big selection of tasty treats, including things like chocolate covered raisins, homemade fudge, hard candies and specialty gifts.  Top it all off with a scoop of their delicious ice cream

Dylan’s Candy Bar - 445 N. Michigan Ave.

Our next stop is Dylan’s Candy Bar on the city’s Near North Side.  This candy store includes free samples at the fudge counter upstairs, plus unique lollipops, gummies and gift baskets.  Be sure to get there early to beat the big crowds.

Margie’s Candies - 1960 N. Western Ave.

Margie’s Candies has been a tradition in the windy city for nearly a century.  The shop features fine chocolates, plus homemade ice cream and all the toppings.  This Chicago original is open until midnight.

Whimsical Candy - 175 N. Franklin

Another great choice is Whimsical Candy in The Loop.  This fun shop is packed with treats, a popular choice if you’re craving malt balls or La-Dee-Dahs.  For melt-in-the-mouth creations, Whimsical Candy is hard to beat.  The shop boasts handmade products made with natural ingredients.

No matter which of the many candy stores you choose to frequent this fall season, you are sure to have a great time taste-testing your way through some of Downtown Chicago’s sweetest creations.
