Winter in Chicago can be cold, dark, dreary, and any other negative word you can find to describe what most would say is their least favorite season. But for those of us who truly love living in Chicago, it’s still possible to find beauty in our amazing city even during the dark days of winter. And there’s no better proof of that than what’s on display in this mesmerizing video that captures some of Chicago’s most well known places during the height of the winter season.
Familiar spots in the video include the United Center, Adams and Sangamon Park in the West Loop, Roosevelt University, Grant Park, the Adler Planetarium, Maggie Daley Park, the new 606 Trail, the Congress Hotel, the University of Chicago, and so many other recognizable places.
The video, dubbed “City in Motion,” is from Drone Media Chicago, which makes some of the coolest drone videos you’ll find anywhere on the web.
