With its excellent location and burgeoning commercial and residential scene, the South Loop is becoming a much sought after commodity for condo shoppers in Chicago.

The Chicago Tribune recently highlighted one couple’s transition from renters in River North to condo buyers in the South Loop.

"Here, there are lots of parents with strollers and people walking dogs," Bethany Van Solkema, who, along with her husband Alden, landed on a 13th floor condo in the area, told the news source. "River North was great, but it had more tourists and single people.
